Spartan Forest Products launches the ThermaPro Wood brand of thermally modified prefinished wood building materials for commercial and residential applications.
June 4, 2024, New Freedom, PA – Today, Spartan Forest Products introduced their new line of thermally modified wood construction materials, appropriately titled ThermaPro Wood. This collection of prefinished, installation-ready building materials is entirely sustainable, weatherproof, and devoid of chemicals.
Designed for those who prefer natural, sustainable building materials, ThermaPro Wood offers an eco-friendly, longer-lasting alternative to chemically and pressure-treated wood products. Thermal modification, a chemical-free procedure, renders wood hydrophobic thereby eliminating issues such as cupping, cracking, warping, or rotting over time. Additionally, this process enriches the wood's hue, augmenting its inherent grain pattern and aesthetic appeal.

Prefinished T&G Nickel Gap Wood Cladding. This façade product can be hung vertically, horizontally, or diagonally as exterior siding, soffit, or rainscreen, and makes a stunning indoor/outdoor ceiling or accent wall.
Prefinished Wood Rainscreen & Slatting. Frequently used for vertical rain screens, privacy walls, shade screens, fences, and artistic detail providing shade, privacy, architectural dimension, and the warmth of real wood for any façade.
Prefinished Decking. Its weather resistance makes it ideal for decks, porches, outdoor ceilings, piers, pool surrounds, walkways, and balconies.
All ThermaPro Wood products are pre-sealed with CUTEK® Extreme Wood Oil and ready to install. A complete line of coordinating trim, moulding, railing, and other finishing components is also produced.
